Conference Time: 11:00 - 11:45
Hello from your GT & Intervention Teacher!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Amy Johnson King. I have a bachelor's degree from Abilene Christian University and a master's in education from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. I just graduated from the Reading program at UTPB this August and am now a certified Reading Specialist and Master Reading Teacher. Hard work pays off! For the past five years, I have taught second grade classes at Midland Academy, but this year I am taking on the role of the campus GT and Intervention Teacher. Now, I will get to work with students from every grade level. This is an exciting opportunity. I look forward to working with you all.
Now that you're here, take some time to look through my website. I have attached links to some of the programs that my students participate in regularly, including Scholastic Book Clubs, ClassDojo, and some of my favorite educational websites. I hope for these resources to serve you well, but feel free to email or call me should you have any additional questions.
Please know that I want to include you in your child’s education as much as possible. All of us have integral roles in creating such a team environment, and for your companionship on this journey, I want to say, “Thank you” in advance. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all.
