• The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity! Dorothy Parker

Welcome to 4th grade. I truly believe that the more you learn, the more curious you become.

I am excited to be in my fourth year at MACS and 26th year of teaching. I have taught Head Start, 1st grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade. What an adventure I've had!

I grew up in El Paso, but went to college at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education and my Masters of Education.  I have been in Midland for twenty-four years and now consider this my home. I met my incredible husband at our church, here in Midland, and married him nineteen years ago. We have two adult daughters. Currently, we do not have any pets, but my mom's dog sometimes likes to come hang out at our house.

I am looking forward to spending the year with you, traveling through Texas history and exploring our world through science. Step into my class and feed your curiosity.
